Summer projects across the Oregon Trail School District

The Oregon Trail School District continued its ongoing focus of maintaining school buildings this summer through a variety of improvements and projects. Many local contractors took part in a wide range of upgrades at every school in the district, including:
- improved vestibule safety, new paint and parking lot repairs/striping at Boring Middle School.
- new roofing and replaced HVAC ventilators in the science wing at Cedar Ridge Middle School.
- new doors (Building B) and upgrades to washbasins (Building D) at Firwood Elementary.
- dedicated classroom space for Special Education and increased intervention space for staff at Kelso Elementary.
- additional bottle fills and upgrades to basins at Naas Elementary.
- new west entrance doors, upgrades to washbasins and fresh paint on doors at Sandy Grade School.
- new sidewalk improvements along Jewelberry, football field turf replacement and 100 meters of track replacement at Sandy High School.
- new sidewalk by cafeteria doors and repainted breezeway posts at Welches School.
