Members of the Sandy VFW visited Firwood Elementary on Wednesday, Oct. 29 to give a very special lesson to fifth graders on how to raise and respect the American flag. With bright blue skies and sunshine as the perfect backdrop, students practiced folding the flag and then raised it in front of the school.
